How Do You Self-Care?
As a wife, a mother of three little ones, and a full-time worker, sometimes life can be a little hectic. There seems to be little time for rest and relaxation.
In the past, I would schedule an appointment at a spa or book a weekend stay at a hotel; those days seem so long ago 😫
A few months ago, I decided to come up with a way that I could still enjoy time for self-care, but while being in the comfort of my own home.
I must say that it turned out to be more relaxing than I had anticipated and it was way less expensive!
I decided to pick one day that I could spend some quality time with myself. Because I work during the week, the weekends were the better choice for me. I already had my husband on board to watch the children. Luckily, because I already had an idea about what I wanted to do and how I would go about planning it, it did not take long to prepare my self-care day.
During the week, I did all of my online shopping, purchasing all of the products that I would need for that day.
Skincare is something that I have been focusing a lot on lately so my self-care days were devoted to that. Each self-care day, I would use a new product from a different brand. I have shared a few products on my Instagram and Pinterest accounts.
It has been a few months now since I have incorporated self-care days into my routine and I have enjoyed every moment of it! Do you practice self-care and if so, what are some of the ways that you unwind?
